Special Guest Speaker: Jonathan Parks AIA, principal Solstice Architects

Developer Joseph Eichler (1900–1974) built 11,000 modern tract houses in California between 1950 and1974. Designed by prominent architects including Robert Anshen, William Allen, Quincy Jones and Frederick Emmons, the homes featured glass walls, open floor plans and the classic atrium that melded the indoors with the outdoors.

"People in Glass Houses" is the first film to explore the legacy of the Eichler phenomenon and seeks to discover what makes these homes so compelling. Featuring interviews with seven Eichler owners in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as conversations with Ned Eichler, son of Joseph Eichler, and Paul Adamson, noted author, Eichler historian and architect.

Winner of the CreaTV Full-Length Documentary award.
